16 large white or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup (60g) breadcrumbs

¼ cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup (60g) cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

½ tsp dried oregano (optional)

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

2 tbsp melted butter (for extra richness)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Mushrooms

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Gently remove the stems from the mushrooms and set them aside.

  3. Lightly brush or toss the mushroom caps with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet, hollow side up.
