1 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
2 tablespoons tikka masala powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil
2 onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
2 green chilies, chopped
1 tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Marinate the Chicken:

In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, tikka masala powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt.

Add chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight, to let the flavors meld.

Prepare the Chicken Tikka:

Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a slight char.

Once cooked, remove the chicken from skewers and set aside.

Make the Karahi Gravy:

Heat oil in a karahi or deep skillet over medium heat.

Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.

Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies, and cook until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.

Combine Chicken Tikka with Karahi Gravy:

Add the grilled chicken tikka to the karahi gravy and mix well.

Crush the dried fenugreek leaves between your palms and sprinkle over the chicken tikka karahi.

Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend and the gravy to thicken to your desired consistency.

Serve:

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with naan bread or steamed rice.

Enjoy the tantalizing flavors of Chicken Tikka Karahi, a delightful fusion dish that's sure to impress your family and friends!
