Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice
1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, bell peppers, etc.)
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup processed cheese, grated
1/4 cup fresh cream
1/4 cup butter
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely chopped
1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves (cilantro)
1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
4-5 cloves
4-5 green cardamom pods
1-inch cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste
2 cups water


Instructions:

Rinse and Soak the Rice:

Rinse 1 cup of basmati rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes, then drain.


Prepare Vegetables:

Chop a mix of colorful vegetables such as peas, carrots, corn, and bell peppers.


Sauté Aromatics:

In a large pot, melt 1/4 cup of butter.

Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 4-5 cloves, 4-5 green cardamom pods, 1-inch cinnamon stick, and 1 bay leaf. Sauté until the spices release their aroma.
